Anything else that escaped my brain and got recorded, but didn't fit anywhere else.
00 A Question of Dodge (SDB remix)
2004-02-17 3.85 MB 4'11"
Remix of Super Dodge Ball's 'Title,' 'USA,' and 'Russia' themes.
00 Axistential
2003-05-12 5.55 MB 6'03"
Breakbeat madness. Sweet little drum-only breakdown in the middle. Freneticness squared.
00 Baroque (Satch cover)
2005-10-24 2.16 MB 2'21"
A heavily edited cover of the Joe Satriani classic. This is several attempts spliced together as I am not the pro that this piece's original creator is.
00 Breezy (FF8 cover)
2006-07-15 1.60 MB 1'15"
A 'breezy' acoustic guitar song from Final Fantasy VIII for the Playstation. This is the second recording of it by me, the first being done many years ago (and filled with clipping).
00 For Not Trying
2002-11-21 2.27 MB 3'24"
In my musical exploration I decided to do something in 5/4 time. Here's what I came up with.
00 Lariat
2003-04-27 4.74 MB 5'10"
Stumbling upon some crunchy industrial noise samples in a CD accompanying some audio magazine, I put this little firebrand together. The harp breakdown may have been too much of a departure, but it sounds nice.
00 Life Underwater I
1998-07-03 3.15 MB 3'26"
Digitech provided me with an interesting delay patch on their RP-7 and I wasn't about to NOT use it.
00 Life Underwater II
1998-07-02 3.89 MB 4'15"
Continuing the delayed water metaphor through a new theme.
00 Norwegian Wood (Beatles cover)
2006-12-10 3.32 MB 2'25"
Acoustic guitar cover of the Beatles classic 'Norwegian Wood,' sans sitar, of course.
00 Parasite
2004-09-13 2.62 MB 2'51"
I was bored one night and put together this chill piece in less than an hour.
00 Peccadillo
2003-07-01 5.17 MB 5'38"
A guitar pattern that I've played with for a while finally gets recorded...as an electronic song. This is little more than background music, but still interesting for the bass/lead that jumps around the stereo field.
00 Printaphobia
2002-11-02 2.75 MB 3'00"
One night while finishing up a paper for school I started to listen to my printer. Lexmark Z51s move at approximately 117 bpm.
00 Saucer of Milk
2004-02-03 4.29 MB 4'40"
This progression just grooves on and on. Features a harmonized saxophone lead.
00 Snake Shake (MG remix)
2002-09-30 4.60 MB 5'01"
Metal Gear Solid had neat sound effects. They'd be even neater in a dance electronica song. So I figured out how to get the samples over a beat. The result is pretty good and even humorous.
00 Solopsis
2008-12-06 8.88 MB 5'16"
A jazzy, solo guitar piece (with some minor lead overdubs).
00 Tears in the Rain (Satch cover)
2004-10-26 1.30 MB 1'25"
Almost perfect acoustic guitar cover of Joe Satriani's song 'Tears in the Rain' from his album The Extremist.
00 Tepid
2004-08-03 3.35 MB 3'29"
Chill piece meant for surround sound.
00 The New Standard
2007-11-26 8.12 MB 5'12"
Tuning: CGCGCC (low to high) Classified in the usual 'instrumental rock' style I'm accustomed to being able to write, the main technical note about the piece is that it's in CGCGCC ('open C5') tuning. I've got another piece I'm probably going to release next that is in CGDGBE ('drop C') tuning, and that lead to the former tuning. I've always wanted to write a piece in alternate tuning, and while experimenting with them before some ideas popped in my head, but this is the first finished one. Hopefully, the drums will sound better than they ever have, as I'm using the Logic Pro 7 'Pop Kit' instead of...well, all the other random kits I've used in the past that basically ranged from 'drum-like' to 'slightly better than white noise.'
00 Monochromatic
2010-02-09 8.49 MB 6'35"
Breaking out the Dream Theater inside for this epic rockfest.
